The sloth-like creature with a hole where its heart was and the bulky, hamfisted paws represents the efforts love can cost us. Its dull, by past things raddled, expression with which it focusses the heart lying in front of it pairs with its determined puffed out tongue and is witness that it has not yet given up its faith in love.

Das faultierartige Wesen mit dem Loch an der Stelle, wo sein Herz ist, und den unförmigen, etwas grobschlächtigen Pranken steht sinnbildlich für die Anstrengungen, die uns die Liebe kosten kann. Sein matter, von Vergangenem gezeichneter Blick, mit dem es das vor sich liegende Herz fokussiert, paart sich mit seiner entschlossen herausgestreckten Zunge und zeugt davon, dass es den Glauben an die Liebe noch nicht aufgegeben hat.
